POSITION:  School Bus Driver - Multiple Positions

DESCRIPTION:  

To provide safe, efficient transportation for students to and from their respective schools

QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid Class B - CDL with “P” and “S” endorsements (Training is available pre-employment)
  • Must successfully complete TEA School Bus Driver certification class.
  • Must be insurable under fleet policy restrictions
  • Must have an annual physical examination
  • Must submit to prescribed DOT drug testing program
  • Ability to perform occasional physical labor
LENGTH of EMPLOYMENT:  

177 days

SALARY:  

2018-2019 Minimum hourly rate: $15.80  (based on previous public school experience) Pay grade MS 5 (salary schedule for the 2019-2020 school year has not been determined)

  • Guaranteed 6 hours minimum per day
  • Opportunity to work 40 + hours with additional assignments
  • Paid training will be provided
  • Year round pay
